First of all you should be clear about the concept of learning. If a person learns a skill or concept, he or she appraises his knowledge. It doesn't matter whether he or she stands first in the whole class. And if he has not learnt the skill or concept it makes not difference to secure first or second position. Always check your knowledge of the level you are at. You'd better be conscious about your learning not your position.
