I woke up this morning, went to the kitchen and ate an apple which made me happy.
Then I decided to go shopping. I took 2 hours for dress up and also took my whole monthly pocket money.
I spend nearly 4 hours in shopping and finally sitting in a coffee shop I realized that I have spend my whole pocket money on rubbish things which were not necessary for me. But as I was a spend drift so I realized this thing later.
While sitting in the coffee shop I felt bored and open my novel which I bought recently.
Suddenly I saw a girl was staring at me…first I tried to ignore her but I felt that she was crying so I went to her and asked why she was crying.
She told me that her mother was in hospital and her father died two years before in a car accident. And now she needs a lot of money for doctors and there is no one to help her.
I felt sorry for her and I decided to help her anyhow. I opened my purse and found that it was having very little amount of money which was of no need to her.
Then I called my mom but her cell phone was not responding at that moment. So I thought to return all my things to the shopkeeper.
Finally I got my money back from the shop keepers and thanked them for helping me. And I handed that money to the little girl.
And first time in my life I felt that I was happy with my work. I told whole story to my mom and she said to me “Beta, I am proud of you”Smile
And now I always try to help others because these little acts of kindness can change a life.
And I remembered a quote of Kevin Heath
“Wherever there is a human in need, there is an opportunity for kindness and to make a difference.”
