Once there lived a woman named Mrs. Brown who used to bake chocolate and strawberry cupcakes for her brother Mr. Twiddle every Saturday. Mr. Twiddle was a post man who delivered letters, parcels and gifts to the folks of Tip Top village. It was a bright Saturday morning when Mrs. Brown baked some chocolate and strawberry cupcakes and placed them in the window sill. The air was enriched with chocolaty smell and the travellers stopped and sniffed the chocolaty air. When Mr. Twiddle came, he was served with chocolate cupcakes with milk. The days went by and she kept baking happily until one day she noticed a very strange thing. Every Saturday, one or two cupcakes were missing and that made Mrs. Brown upset. The strange disappearance of the cupcakes made Mrs. Brown upset. She was sitting in her deck chair and reading her paper when a wonderful idea struck her mind. She suddenly got out of her chair and headed towards the market. The next Saturday she baked some chocolate and strawberry cupcakes and placed them in the window sill. In the centre of the plate, she put a rat-catcher and she herself sat near the window waiting anxiously for the thief. After sometime, she heard someone coming from the neighbouring house and approaching the cupcakes. The thief without even looking in the plate grabbed chocolate cupcakes but alas his hand was caught by the rat-catcher. ''Help! Help! For heaven’s sake help me!'' shouted the thief. Mrs. Brown was familiar with voice. It was Mr. Whisky, her greedy neighbour. She hurriedly came out of her house and caught poor Whisky from his collar. Without thinking anything, she took Mr. Whisky to the police station and there he was given a nice beating for his mischievous deed!
