Mascara is a cosmetic commonly used to boost the eyes. It may darken, thicken, elongate, and/or define the eyelashes. It usually sold as a liquor cosmetic in a tube and applied with a round brush called a wand. Mascara is a cosmetic that has been used for thousands of years to thicken the lashes. At first mascara was made from soot or charcoal. But at the present time it is made from coal and petroleum jelly combined together.
It is available in many colours but most widely and commonly used is Black. Others are blue, brown, purple, white and green,
Proper use of mascara includes discarding the tube and brush after four to six months. Because mascara is used on such a sensitive part of the body, it is important not to use mascara for too long, as using old products can introduce bacteria into the eyes and cause serious health problems. Always remove mascara at night because dry mascara can attract dust particles and bacteria and it can even make your eyelashes weak and breakable. Don't share mascara with other people and don’t use other’s mascara even for once. It can transfer the germs from one’s eye to another.
Tip: If you don’t have any other choice except sharing it then DO wipe the wand with a wet tissue or wash with warm water so the germs get off.(This tip can be used for other products also like lip gloss and eye shadow brush....)
How to Properly Apply Mascara:
Apply other eye makeup such as foundation, eye shadow ,creams and eyeliner(if u use it)
Position yourself comfortably. Sit properly and straight. Properly rest your elbow straight and upright on a straight surface.
Like this hold the mascara wand.
Shake the mascara bottle properly before you open it…
(Tip: To avoid getting mascara on the lids or cheeks you can put a visiting card or any paper under the lower lashes or behind the upper lashes before applying. Like this your mascara will be applied neatly.)
5. ALWAYS start from the roots of the lashes. Go upwards rather gently while wiggling your band or in other words move the wand in zigzag direction as you go in order to avoid lumps.
6. It is always best to apply a second coat but keep in mind that the second one should be applied before the first one dries otherwise the mascara will all flake off.
7. Try to avoid blinking your eyes while you apply your beautiful mascara or else you will end up with mascara all around the eye and you will look like a cartoon (hahaha)
Never pump your mascara wand in out and out of the tube ... this will let air inside the tube and will dry the mascara much sooner.
Never buy mascara from cheap quality shops. Quality is much important than price. Just becoz they r cheap it doesn’t mean they are good.
Never apply it on young girls as they blink their eyes rapidly and allow mascara to enter in their eyes...Which can be very dangerous.

Nice but im twelve and i dont wear makeup :( natural beauty is so much better than putting make up on (hope u get what i mean, no offense)
This is the way i apply mascara :) :-
Step 1: Wiggle the wand left to right at the base of lashes. It's the mascara placed near the roots -- not the tips -- that gives the illusion of length.
Step 2: Pull the wand up and through lashes, wiggling as you go. The wiggling part is key because it separates lashes.
Step 3: In this final step (which I always skip), close the eye and place the mascara wand on top of lashes at the base and pull through to remove any clumps.
