Up early in the morning,

Praying and eating,

Then eat no more,

After you hear Azaan,

Hungry all day,

Thirsty all day,

Realizing how the poor feel,

How they live,

Set the table with drinks and food,

Dates and water,

Samosa and pakora,

Then you hear the azaan,

And start eating quickly.

So my friends,

Ramadan is here,

And the blessings are everywhere.
