Rank 9 Out of 10
A Noun is the name of anything.
I.e. a book, a parrot or a king,
A Pronoun stands in place of name,
I.e. he, she, it or they,
An Adjective describes a noun,
I.e. large, frosty, cold or brown,
A Verb is an action or being word,
I.e. play, go, eat or heard,
An Adverb describes adjective more obviously,
I.e. very, quickly, cruelly or fairly,
A Conjunction joins phrases or words,
I.e. Jameel and Nadia went towards,
A Preposition shows relationship b/w one noun and another,
I.e. the girl is sitting with her brother,
An Interjection expresses strong feelings,
I.e. Hurrah! Ouch! Alas! Hey! Uh-huh!
These are 8 parts of speech,
Which, in every class teachers teach.
