I am a little Red-Eared Slider Turtle and I lived happily with my two brothers and father. I chewed on fresh seaweed and had many friends, that is, until one day. It was an ordinary day; I was furiously chewing on some seaweed. A fish came up to me and said something like "Run! Run! Net! Net!" I was startled and before I knew it, I was surrounded by many fish in a large net. I tried to escape but I could not. I closed my eyes, depending on the Almighty to save me from this terrible net and when I woke up, I found my self in an Aquarium with a catfish, two sea snails and a puffer fish. I was scared and stayed in the corner of the aquarium for a couple of days. I started feeling a bit strange in my head. A little girl came and took me home. She placed me in another aquarium. By then I was feeling very stressed. I didn’t eat anything and soon, I felt sick. I became Lethargic and inactive. The two angelfish in the aquarium started pecking at one of my legs. Oh, now how I miss my family! Why do humans do this? But I am now safe and healthy, because the little girl was kind enough to nurture me and take me to this so-called vet. Now I am as big as a whale and back in the sea, with my family.
