There was once a young girl who had taken ballet lessons all through her childhood, and now she felt that she was ready to commit herself to be good at it, as necessary to make a career of it. She wanted to be a famous ballerina, but first she wanted to be sure she had enough talent.
There was a ballet show in town after three days. The lady who trained the ballets of the show was a famous ballet, and in that town if anyone ever wanted to be a ballet had to show her their skills. The girl decided to show the lady her skills after the show was over. She practiced day and night for 3 days, no matter how tired she got.  Finally the day came. After the show, she went to the lady and said, "I want to be a famous ballerina like you but I don’t know if I have got talent".
"Show me your skills", the famous ballet replied. After a minute or two she shook her head and said, "No, no, no! You don’t have what it takes".
The girl went home, dishearten. She threw her ballet clothes and shoes in the closet and never wore them again. Years later she got married and had children. To make a living she worked as a cashier in a store.
One day as she was going to the store on the way she met the famous ballet dancer (whom she had showed her skills), who was now nearly 80 years old. She reminded her that they had met years before. She told her about her about her family and her job at the store, and then she said, "There's only one thing that has bothered me for years. How could you tell so quickly that I didn’t have what it takes?"
"Oh! I barely even looked at you when you danced," she said."That's what I told to those who came to me."
"What you did is unforgivable," the girl cried. "You spoiled my career, you ruined my life. I would have been a great ballerina," she wept.
"No, no, I don’t think so," the lady replied. "If you had what it takes, You would not have taken notice of what I said", the lady said and went away.
The girl realized what the Lady meant, and she wanted to reverse what had happened. But now it was too late as she was nearly 45.
As it is obvious what had happen cannot be changed, so be careful towards your career or you may have to suffer. Have faith in yourself and always be careful towards your decision.
