Water is a chemical substance and is essential for living things. A water molecule contains of one oxygen and two hydrogen molecules. Water covers 70.9% of the Earth's surface and is vital for all forms of life. Water pollution is a major global problem. It has been suggested that it is the worldwide leading cause for diseases and deaths and it accounts for the death of 14000 people daily. The specific contaminants leading to pollution in water include a wide spectrum of chemicals being dumped into it every day.
We should all try to work together and help solve this water pollution problem because it can also become a major problem for us and the generations coming after us.
