The principle goal of education is to create men who are capable of doing new things, not simply of repeating what other generations have done - men who are creative, inventive and discoverers- Jean Piaget Let me begin with a quote of our leader Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. He said, ‘’Education is a matter of life and death to our nation.’’ Every nation is built upon some pillars such judiciary, armed forces, government, health and most important of all education. In fact if we take a closer it is the education which is the foundation of other pillars. But what exactly is education? Education isn't making a round trip to an institution everyday. It’s actually the maturity, and rationale that is acquired. Education in the largest sense is any act or experience that has a formative effect on the mind, character, or physical ability of any individual. One can simply assume that a person is not in a proper sense until he is not educated. Education trains the mind to think and differ between right and wrong. The quality of people living in a nation can be easily judged by checking out its literacy rate. We can say that if a nation wants to be well-developed and achieve its goals then education is must. All well-developed countries have great importance for education. It is education which distinguishes a man from an animal. Friends we should always remember that the importance of education can never ever be neglected as it plays an important role both in economic and social development of a country playing a role as a backbone in its development.
