Yes...The mysterious civilization. About 4500 years ago a great and a mysterious civilization grew in the Indus Valley. In some ways we know a lot about it but in many ways we know nothing. This civilization is none other than "The Indus Valley Civilization." The Indus Valley Civilization is said to be mysterious because we don't know what happened exactly. What was the reason of its decline, why it did strangely vanished. There are no writings as well which can give us some clues except that stone seals have been found which were probably pressed in soft clay to mark people's possessions. There's a old saying "The number of people there are the more the number of talks" so everyone has their own thoughts and we can't say anything to anyone until we know the exact truth. Some Archaeologists say that the reason of the decline was because of the civilization's situation decorating. Houses were repaired with poorer quality bricks and divided into smaller rooms for more families. Drainage systems broke out and were not repaired. The city became more like slums. People think this may have happened because of the land producing much less food. Others say the civilization was destroyed by the flood as Indus Valley was very near to the Indus River. Most of the people say that Indus Valley was destroyed by the enemies. We actually don't know who these were but according to the remains we think they were the Aryans from the central Asia. Scores of skeletons of people died violently were left in the streets and houses to rot.
These are different thoughts of different people especially archaeologists. If we say everyone on their thought is right but not confirmed. I personally think that Indus Valley was destroyed by enemies. What do you think????
