I'm writing a letter To send to the post; It's to the person I care for the most. I write the date clearly And put on the address, And begin "Dearest Mummy," Did anyone guess? My pen travels slowly All along the sheet, Because I'm so worried To keep it all neat. I carefully blot it To dry up the ink. Such nice blotting paper, The colour is pink! I turn the page over And on goes my pen, To go to the post box, It's ready again. The envelope's ready I put the stamp on, And run to the post box, And now it has gone!
