Thousands of people waved and cheered, as I sat there buckled up in the rocket. I felt nervous but this was supposed to be a reward of training after all these years. I was going to be the first person going to space! It was an honor for me but it could also be matter of life and death. As the rocket was alighted whole crowd got silenced. My adrenaline began pumping as the rocket began to rise. Soon I pierced into the darkness of space. It was very silence there; the type of thing a teacher would call pin drop silence. There was not a speck of light to be seen. I had already been wearing my oxygen mask as I had been told that there would be no oxygen in the space. To be continued............
