I came from my school and was very happy to see my old arm chair, which was in front of the television empty. I threw my bag on the table and jumped on the arm chair with a huge smile. I was about to turn the TV on when suddenly someone knocked the door. I looked around and shouted for someone to open the door but no one even bothered to answer and i felt like the only person left in the world. Atlast,I had no choice but to go and open the door. With anger on my face I opened the door. There was no one over there except for a letter on the doorstep. I closed the door and took the letter to my mother. My mother opened the letter but it actually went out to be a wedding card.We were invited in the wedding of my cousin Ellie and the wedding was tonight. I was excited to hear this as i loved to travel in my air conditioned car with sips of my favorite orange juice. As it was about to be evening, I rushed to my big closet which was filled with multi coloured dresses. I decided to wear my favorite dress which was embroided and gleaming with shiny beads’ wore the glittering bangles which i had just brought. It was my bad luck that the marriage hall was just a street away so we had to walk to it’s we entered the hall, the people scattered raised petals on us. We sat on a while table which had a beautiful bouquet on it. We sat around it and waited for the bride to show up. The hall was twinkling with lights .After a lot of wait the bride showed up. She was wearing a red dress cowered with yellow dots in which the bride looked glamorous. The groom was wearing a black tuxedo and looked like a gentlemen. We were starving to dead when at last the dinner started. There were chicken sticks, naan, korma, biryani, cold drinks and kheer. The food was very delicious and tasty. My mom was busy in talking to the relatives. After the food; we went to the entrance as the hall was almost empty. We thanked the relatives for inviting us. This wedding was the best wedding I would have ever gone too.
