Saad was going to complete his degree from University. For many months he had desired a beautiful Honda Bike, and knew his father could afford it, so he told him that was all he wanted.
As Completion Day come near, the Saad expected that his father had bought the car. Finally, on the day of his completion, When Saad came from University, his father called him into his private study room. His father told him how honored he was to have such a good son, and told him how much he loved him. He gave his son a beautifully covered gift box. Wondered, but somewhat dissatisfied, Saad opened the box and found a lovely, book Quran, with Saad's name printed in gold. Angry, he raised his voice to his father and said "With all your money, you give me a Book? “You don’t love me Dad you don’t…….. I am leaving this home and will never come back (I hate you Dad) Saad said, and took out of the house, leaving the Quran.
So many years passed and Saad was very successful in business. He had a beautiful home and ideal family, but become conscious his father was very old, and thought perhaps he should go to him. He had not seen him since that completion day. Before he can make preparations, he received a message telling him his father had passed away, and willed all of his properties to his son. He wanted to come home immediately and take care of things.
When Saad reached at his father's house, sudden sadness and shame filled his heart. He began to search through his father's important papers and saw the still new Quran, just as he had left it years ago. With tears, he opened the Quran and began to turn the pages. And as he did, a Bike key fell from the back of the Quran. It had a tag with the dealer's name, the same dealer who had the Bike he had wanted. On the tag was the date of his completion, and the words BILL PAID.
