2014 is our school’s ‘Golden Jubilee’ We are celebrating it with happiness and glee Women rising higher with humility And achieving their true capability This theme gave us this beautiful chance In the form of ‘Parivartan’ – a drama and dance Keen on participation With fingers crossed we went for audition Merrily I began to sing Because I was selected to enact a king And as we acted and spoke With our teachers refining the strokes We earned their praise Yet I had this feeling of moral malaise Even in that so cherished Vedic age Why women were not encouraged? So many questions on my mind Was a king not supposed to be just and kind? Why did it happen in his kingdom? That nobody used the wisdom Even the king did not use his foresight Couldn’t learned Yajnavalkya be polite? Much I thought And discussed a lot Surely, learning is our need So a lot we must read Enhanced clarity and awareness Will overcome all weakness Deciding on goals Contributing to the society with a better role And by maintaining focus Surely women will shine with success.
Kindly clarify yr ques,.yes it is true that we r celebrating our school's golden jubilee, and it is also true that i have penned down a personal experience and yes i believe that education ensures growth, both of the individual as well as that of society as a whole
