GIANT ship engine failed, the owners tried expert one after another but no one could figure out how to repair it. Then they called an old man who has been repairing engines since he was young .He brought a small tool box with him and when he arrived he immediately started inspecting the engine from bottom to top carefully. The 2 owners were standing there to know what the problem was. After looking at the engine he went into his small bag and got a small hammer out of it, he just tapped the hammer once on something and engine lurched back into life. He carefully put his hammer away, and the engine was fixed! A week later the owner received a bill from the old man for 10,000 dollars .the owners exclaimed on it and asked him to send a detailed bill. The old man replied," the detailed bill is:
Tapping the hammer = $ 2.00 and knowing where to tap = $9,998”
The lesson is:"effort is important, but knowing where to use this effort makes all the difference"
