1 Person like this!

Rank 9 Out of 10
As I lay in bed,

I hear sounds that change my mood,

I hear the radiator gurgling

As if it needs food.

My wardrobe door creaking,

This was freaking

My parents’ muffled voices,

In the bedroom below.

I hear footsteps clicking on the pavement,

Outside the house

I hear branches tapping,

At my window.

I hear rain pattering,

& I wonder if it’s mourning

Slowly I pull my blankets up my face,

& slowly very slowly, I go to sleep.
