Chris Stephen called the police and few of his trusted detective friends and explained them the whole situation. Then Stephen asked Betty, "where is your hideout? Tell us quick!"
Betty said, "Behind the Cocktail Pub, in its back alley."Stephen told Mr and Mrs Marvey that Betty will have to come with them so that she stays under the eyes of police. When Stephen, the police and the Marveys reached behind the Cocktail Pub, Betty showed them the entrance to the hideout. But Stephen walked around the whole pub and then said to the police members,
"Gentlemen, I want 20 of you to surround this place but please leave the actual entrance of the pub. I will go in through this hideout door. Please load your guns."Then he walked in. The gang leader, Roderick yelled, "Who the hell are you and what brings you to your death spot?"
"I'm...detective Christopher Stephen and you are all under arrest," answered Stephen.
"You shall die on the spot you're standing!" Cried Susan and pointed the pistol on Stephen.
"Save your bullets," said Stephen and clapped his hands loudly. All of a sudden 10 police came into the room through the entrance of the hideout.
"Let's get out through the backdoor!" cried Rodney. The three gangsters reached the backdoor, but they couldn't escape from there too.10 more policemen marched through that door. So Stephen's clever plan of surrounding the place worked and the gangsters were now arrested.
"Tell us where have you hidden the girl or else," Stephen threatened.
"She...she is in in the corner," stammered Roderick. When Stephen opened the locker, Julie fell out from the locker, unconscious, her arm, legs and mouth tied. Mr and Mrs Marvey ran to their daughter. When Julie gained consciousness, she screamed with joy, "Oh Mom,Dad! I'm glad we're again reunited!"
"We are also glad. Now you're safe." said Jonas Marvey, "Thank you for finding my daughter! We couldn't have done without you Mr. Stephen."
"That's my job, Mr Marvey to solve other people's problems. And I'm glad we have found your Julie." said Stephen with a smile.
