I was all alone in the middle of the ocean. The dull sun was sinking in the pale, blue water. I saw a distant object floating, moving towards it I gasped for air. WOAH!!It was my bag full of the stuff I had taken to camp, a little food, a flashlight, a match box and some orange juice. Climbing on a wooden plank floating by I opened a pack of chips and thought about what might've happened. Last night my fellow campers and I were having a canoe race when suddenly water started gushing into my canoe. The canoe must've sunk I thought eating my last chip. We were going back to town the next day so I had to get back to camp. As I sat awaiting my fate I noticed a small, rocky island and went towards it. A huge bird came towards me, shooing it away I moved toward the mysterious Island. Walking along the shore I found a cave. I went inside scared, hungry and very thirsty so I opened up a tin of peaches and drank some of the lemonade. Satisfied, i sprawled on the ground thinking about but what I should do. A few hours later I dozed off in spite of the uncomfortable, rocky ground. In the morning, according to my plan, I went to the woods to gather up some logs to make a raft as I had learned at the camp. Rowing hard with wooden planks as oars, I rowed and rowed for hours. "Then what happened?" asked Della, roasting another marshmallow on the campfire."Then I finally reached camp and found all of you." I replied with a smile.
