Earth's revolution around the sun

A Polish astronomer Copernicus Nicolaus gave his astronomical theory that the sun is at rest near the center of the universe, and that the earth, spinning on its axis once daily, revolves annually around the sun. This is called the heliocentric, or sun-centered, system. Historically, heliocentrism was opposed to geocentrism, which placed the Earth at the center.
However, sun does not move randomly through space but that it rotates around its axis and follows a course as it does so. NASA Scientists recently discovered that the sun is actually moving with a speed of 200-250 km/second towards a point called the solar apex or the resting point. Scientists also say that our sun will reach that resting point and die after five thousand millions year. This fact of the moving sun towards the resting point was mentioned clearly in the Qur’an, some 1400 years ago in a verse.
"And the Sun is running towards its resting point."
