A quick way to work out the area is to measure the sides of with a ruler and then multiply the length by the width

Steps to be taken

Draw a rectangle 4 cm wide and 5 cm long

Mark 3 parallel lines vertically and 4 parallel lines horizontally so that 20 sqares will be formed in the rectangle

You can find the area of rectangle by multiplying the length and width

Here you can also find the area by counting how many square centimeters there are
